Like those the game is completely single player and is laid out as many hub levels which transport you to the different levels in that realm getting harder as you progress right up until the final battle with Gnasty Gnorc. Produced by Michael John and Mark Cerny and designed by Charles Zembillas the game was released in 1998 in Europe and North America for the Sony Playstation 1 and was met with much praise achieving high scores by reviewers and pushed the early hardware to the max.The game is in the style of a traditional 3D platformer of the late 90’s and very similar to games like Super Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot. This was the first Spyro game, and developer Insomniac’s second game.
